Silvia Brett is an accomplished trial attorney licensed to practice law in Florida and the Middle District of Florida. Throughout her legal career, Silvia has represented clients across Florida, litigating cases in both state and federal court.

Silvia has tried jury trials in the Florida counties of Hillsborough, Charlotte, Sarasota, Manatee, and Miami-Dade.

Silvia began her legal career over eight (8) years ago as an insurance defense attorney, representing insurance companies sued by individuals and businesses at a prominent statewide firm. Silvia then transitioned to an elite Tampa personal injury law firm representing individuals suing businesses and insurance companies.

During her time at those firms, Silvia litigated cases involving physical injuries as well as sexual abuse, defamation, and healthcare matters.

A 2016 graduate of Stetson University College of Law, Silvia was a key member of the nationally recognized Stetson Trial Team, where she helped secure a national title during her time with the team.

While in law school, Silvia was approved by the Florida Supreme Court to be a certified legal intern for the Sixth Judicial Circuit’s Public Defender. She also clerked for the Honorable Caroline Tesche-Arkin and served as a teaching assistant to Professor Amelia Joyner in Trial Advocacy.

Before law school, Silvia obtained a degree in legal studies and minors in both Spanish and Psychology from the University of Central Florida.

Silvia is a native Spanish speaker and her bilingual abilities allow her to effectively counsel a diverse range of clients.

Outside of her legal practice, Silvia is deeply involved in her community. Silvia serves as a Guardian ad Litem on behalf of minor children. She is a proud member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church.

When she is not serving her clients and her community, Silvia enjoys spending time with her husband, children, dog, and cat.
